Audi South Africa has expanded its compact sports utility vehicle line-up with the introduction of a new Q2 S line derivative, priced from R679 000. The model arrives as a more accessible entry point to the Q2 family, sitting below the existing Urban Edition and Black Edition variants in the local range.The addition forms part of the brand's broader portfolio optimisation strategy, aimed at offering a more competitive and clearly structured model line-up for South African customers.
The refreshed Q2 range now features a three-tier hierarchy, giving buyers a distinct progression in specification and visual presence as they move up the model grades.

The S line serves as the range opener and comes generously equipped as standard. Features include 18-inch five-spoke alloy wheels, Matrix LED headlamps with dynamic light sequencing, sport suspension, progressive steering, Audi virtual cockpit, MMI radio plus with smartphone interface and an Audi sound system. The exterior is marked by S line-specific bumpers, illuminated aluminium door sills with S badging and Matt Platinum Grey sideblades.
Moving up, the Urban Edition is priced at R748 280 and adds comfort-oriented amenities such as 18-inch Graphite Grey alloy wheels, a panoramic glass sunroof, leather and leatherette upholstery, an electric tailgate and keyless entry. The exterior receives advanced bumpers with a contrasting paint finish.
At the top of the range sits the Black Edition at R770 980, which brings a more assertive design language. It features S line bumpers in Black Optics paint, black accents across the Singleframe grille, sideblades, mirror housings and Audi rings, along with 19-inch black Audi Sport alloy wheels. Inside, buyers get black cloth headlining, a flat-bottom sports steering wheel and an ambient lighting package offering a choice of 10 colours.
